It was a great game against Belper 6th played in good spirits. Will F. And Shri in their first away league match both had great games contributing significantly to the flow of the game. The first half was tightly contested but Belper managed to take advantage of two opportunities and score. Simon in goal was incredible in the half and the two goals were definatly both against the run of the game. Fletcher and James were linking well in the middle and did get a few good balls through giving Souths a couple of opportunities in the first half too. The first half ended Souths 0 - 2 Belper. Will H. And Daniel were a blessing to have in the Team and made a big difference in terms of controlling and distributing the ball for us. The second half started very well and we had many opportunities to attack. Stan and Ken were both truly unlucky not to score. With our strong attack we unfortunately got caught on the counter by Belper and conceded another two goals in the second half. The direction from Will really helped our youngster to grow in confidence today which was great to see. This is going to be an exciting season for the 4th's. The final score was 4 - 0 to Belper.
