| Match Report | South started out strong for the first five minutes of the game continuously pressing the Belper defence creating chances down the pitch. South’s first goal came from there 100% short corner conversion rate yesterday with a ball out to Tom C to slot it bottom corner past the Belper Goalkeeper and defender. Belper responded quickly with a half volley shot near to the top of the D which was Finished nicely past Mark D, shortly after a green card from Fin C. After a sloppy end to the first half South came out strong in the second half pressing as a team and creating chances unfortunate not to finish them past the keeper. Finally Toby C scored a nice one handed reverse tap in square into the D by Tom B, and the third shortly after from a well taken strike from the top of the D from Dan R slotted bottom corner after his yellow card previously in the second half. Final score 3-1 to South after a strong second half performance from everyone and the juniors stepping up. |
